I have recently completed
my actor training at Central School of Speech and Drama. During my
training I was taught movement and dance by Lecoq trained Ayse Tashkiran (La
Compagnie Philippe Genty and Table Show) and carried out deatiled vocal work with
tutor Annie Morrison which included techniques such as T'ai Chi, Laban
Dance, Six Forms of Touch, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Work and Chinese
Internal Exercises. I was also fortunate enough to work with such popular
direcctors as Raz Shaw (winner of 2006 Jerwood Theatre Award The
Factory Girls-Arcola

of Religion-Theatre 503 and The

and Phelim McDermott (Theatre of Blood-National Theatre, Shockheaded
Peter-International Tour and winner of 2002 Olivier Award for best
entertainment, Spririt-Royal Court and Bafta nominated film Tomorrow La Scala)
Immediatley
after the completion of my course I was lucky enough to
perform in a month long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where I was part
of a show that I performed and co-wrote called 'Girl in Box'. The show received
really positive feedback and we are now in the process of negotiating a
national tour with various theatres.I am now focussing on gaining more
experience in all aspects of theatre and screen acting and looking to work
further with talented actors, writers and directors.
Upcoming Projects: I am
passionate about working with new writing and on the week beginning 9th October
I am workshopping a new text with Jessica Swale ('The Overwhelming',
Out-of-Joint, NT) and her new company red handed theatre.
